His goal has booked a European tour - but Ricki Lamie needs to wait and see whether he's on the plane when Motherwell set out on their Europa Conference League quest.
The centre-back popped up with the winner in Wednesday's 2-1 Premiership win over Hearts, sealing a top five spot and competitive football abroad this summer.
It came after Lamie also netted a stoppage-time leveller last month during a 2-2 draw with Livingston that secured top six security.
He has acted with admirable professionalism since signing a pre-contract at Dundee in January but that move isn't set in stone.
A clause in that deal could be activated after the Dark Blues' relegation to the Championship, allowing the former Livi defender to potentially walk away from it.
'Well boss Graham Alexander wants to keep his scorer of big goals but the man himself isn't sure what will happen yet beyond Saturday's game with Celtic.
He said: "It's basically still up in the air. I will just need to see how the season pans out and take it from there. I have spoken to the club and I have really enjoyed my time here and we will just need to wait and see how it all pans out.
"It's been well documented the stuff in the contract. So we will take it from there. I have just tried to put that to the side and let the people who deal with that stuff deal with it.
"I will be put in a position in the next week or two and see what happens. It's a nice feeling to be wanted but I feel that here as well, which is a really good position to be in.
"There will be decisions to be made in the next week or two. I spoke to the gaffer and he has been great with me, the club has been great with me from January. I feel I have been easy to deal with.
"I just cast that aside and deal with a Saturday and give my all Monday to Friday. I think the gaffer has appreciated that and it has been reciprocated. He has been really good with me as have the club."
Lamie joined Motherwell in 2020 just as they embarked on a Europa League journey with Stephen Robinson in charge, taking on Northern Irish pair Glentoran and Coleraine before facing Hapoel Be'er Sheva in Israel.
It was an experience he loved and says it was a big reason why he initially moved to ML1.
The 28-year-old added: "I played last season with Stephen Robinson when I came in. It was a great experience. Unfortunately we only got the one European trip with two Irish ties so it wasn't far afield. .
"But we went over to Israel and it was a disappointing one, but it gives you a wee taste for it.
"That was a massive part in me coming to the club. It's really attractive, You don't get many opportunities as a Scottish player to play in Europe."
