Motherwell star Dean Cornelius appears to have bade farewell to the club as he gets set for a move to English League Two side Harrogate Town on a two-year deal.
The midfielder moved from the Fir Park stands to the first team and says he'll be forever grateful for the opportunity.
But the 22-year--old has been reported as saying he wants to escape a 'comfort zone' as he searches for a new challenge after five years at the Scottish Premiership club.
When talking about coming to the end of his contract last season, Cornelius said: "I feel I'm ready for a new challenge. I've been at Motherwell since I went full-time. The club is local to me, I live two minutes away, and I've not been out of my comfort zone."
And Cornelius took to Twitter so seemingly say farewell to Motherwell, saying: "Forever grateful for the opportunity to have represented the team I love.
"Thanks for everything, Motherwell. It really was a dream come true."
