Motherwell chief executive Alan Burrows says there has been an '800 per cent' uptake in replica kit sales this summer, compared to last season.
And he says that represents their most successful new kit launch ever.
The Fir Park club's new-look 'throwback' strip by Macron, which harks back to a by-gone era with a wide amber stripe on an otherwise claret shirt, has proved to be a huge success with fans.
While the impact of Covid restrictions may have held fans back from buying last season, they haven't been stopped from flocking to the club's shop.
Burrows said on social media: "After three days, we have sold an astonishing 800 per cent more than we did in the first three days of sales last summer (albeit slightly caveated by Covid impact).
"It has been, by a distance, our most successful new home kit launch ever."
The new away kit is set to be launched soon.
