Mother of Jake Hall’s child speaks of ‘devastating loss’ after his shock death at age 35

The mother of Jake Hall’s daughter has asked for privacy, saying that the pair need time to come to terms with their “devastating loss” after the TV star died aged 35.

Hall, a The Only Way Is Essex (Towie) cast member, was found dead with head injuries at a holiday villa in Spain, according to The Sun.

The 35-year-old, who played for Boston United, was reportedly found by police with fatal head wounds believed to have been caused after smashing through a glass door.

Hall, who quit the programme in 2024, had a daughter, eight-year-old River, with 39-year old Misse Beqiri, a model and Real Housewives of Cheshire star.

A statement shared by Beqiri’s talent agent on Thursday said: “At this time, Misse’s focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this devastating loss.

“The family are asking for privacy, compassion and respect while they grieve privately.”

Hall joined the cast of Towie in 2015, and dated co-star Chloe Lewis before quitting in 2024 and ran menswear brand called By Jake Hall.

A spokesperson for the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office said: “We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities.”

Tributes have started to pour in for Hall, including from celebrity DJ Fat Tony who said on Instagram: “Devastating news we love you @jakehall such an awful loss to the world you beautiful man x.”

The Only Way Is Essex also paid tribute in a statement which read: “Jake was a part of the Towie family for a number of years and we send our very deepest sympathies to his family and friends following today’s very sad news.”

Hall’s most recent post on Instagram, from Tuesday, shows him painting on the island.

He wrote: “Life is bollocks sometimes but I’m gonna try remember the good things. Looking through things – I’m just making art – in many forms.”

The comments on the post have since been flooded with tributes from fans and fellow celebrities alike, including fellow The Only Way Is Essex star Georgia Harrison.

Harrison, who is also known for appearing on ITV’s Love Island, wrote: “RIP Jake my heart’s breaking for everyone close to you today and your amazing family.”

Antony Costa, known for his role in boyband Blue, said: “So sad. What a lovely bloke you were mate R.I.P.”
