Mother and son who abused foster children branded ‘scum’ by victim at sentencing

A mother and son who abused foster children over a 15-year period were branded “scum” by one of their victims after being sentenced on Friday morning.

Jennifer Robertson, 79, subjected children as young as 10 months old to “quite appalling” abuses at a property in Murthly, Perthshire, between 1980 and 1995.
