- More than 50 survivors have been found, but 18 people remain missing, and one passenger is confirmed to have drowned.
- On Sunday, 19 July, a 46-year-old woman and her 24-year-old son were rescued by fishermen from the uninhabited island of Balaloho.
- The mother and son had initially clung to a raft with four other people after the sinking.
- Search and rescue chief Anwar confirmed that the other four individuals became weak, could not hold on, and subsequently drifted away.
