Most unwanted - the County Durham houses for sale for up to two years

From a compact bungalow to a huge sprawling modern mansion set in 14 acres of land, these are the properties in County Durham that have been listed for sale longest on Zoopla.

It's a shame for the owners as generally speaking the property market is buoyant, with houses in great demand and prices rising.

There is also a bit of a 'mortgage war' going on as the UK's top lenders are offering a succession of bargain basement mortgage deals to attract business.

The County Durham house which has been listed the longest on property website Zoopla is a three bed semi-detached bungalow in Monks Crescent, Durham.

It is on the market for offers in region of £149,950 and was first listed on Zoopla in June 2019, over two years ago.

The house itself looks a bit tired and could do with a bit of a freshen up.

However it's just a mile from Durham city centre, has gardens and good parking space so it has a number of plus points. But not enough so far, it seems.

The second property is a very pleasant looking house in the Sidings, Durham.
