New research has revealed the most popular honeymoon destinations in Scotland in time for Valentine's Day.
Finding a perfect honeymoon location can be a difficult decision to make, especially with the cost of living crisis making international trips unaffordable for many couples. Fortunately, it is easy to set off on a romantic trip for two closer to home.
To help couples with their search for the perfect romantic getaway in the UK, experts at Fabulous Bingo have researched and ranked 45 of the most popular honeymoon hotspots using Google search trend data.
According to the research, Tobermory in the Isle of Mull and Portree in Isle Of Skye are a joint favourite in Scotland for honeymooners, with approximately 18,100 searches in the UK per month. The two take 20th position overall for the UK.
Tobermory offers beautiful beaches, a picturesque harbour, and plenty of outdoor activities, providing extensive activities for those honeymooning. The Isle of Mull is also home to stunning beaches that are the perfect spot for a romantic walk.

Meanwhile, Portree has breathtaking views of the Cuillin Mountains and the sea, and is home to quaint shops and restaurants to explore. Skye's natural wonders and historic sites make for the perfect tranquil and romantic honeymoon spot.
Elsewhere, Plockton in the Highlands is the third most popular Scottish honeymoon destination, with around 12,100 searches per month. The picturesque village sits on a sheltered bay with stunning views, and is known as The Jewel of the Highlands.
The fourth and final Scottish honeymoon destination to appear on the list is Crail in Fife, with an average monthly search volume of 8,100. The historic fishing village features charming cobbled streets, a miniature harbour, and excellent restaurants.
