Ryan Tubridy got himself in a bit of trouble on Friday night as he clashed with Derry Girls star Jamie Lee-O'Donnell.
The RTE Late Late Show host asked Jamie-Lee her age which she felt was "misogynistic".
The actress, who plays teenager Michelle in the hit Channel 4 sitcom, quickly shut down the question and said that he wouldn't have asked a male actor the same question.

She jokingly replied: "I'm 117 - and very, very wise. This is the thing about that, it gets on my nerves a wee bit.
"It's always quite misogynistic even if it's unintentionally misogynistic because men don't get the same scrutiny in their career.”
Viewers cringed at the interview, but it’s not the only time that awkward moments like this happened on Irish television, so here’s a few others.
Ray Darcy ‘sexist’ interview with Pamela Anderson
D’Arcy interviewed the former Baywatch star back in 2015 and it was described as “disrespectful”.
The presenter asked Anderson about her sons and teenage fans, he said: “Do they as teenage boys know the effect you have on other teenage boys?”
He also made a reference to her boobs, he said: “Were you in a sitcom called Stacked? I only got recently that it was about books and they were stacked, but you were…yeah.”
He also showed a photo of Anderson receiving a knighthood from the Prince of Montenegro and said: “There you are on your knees in front of the Prince of Montenegro.”
And D’Arcy concluded the interview by saying: “It was great, I was going to say, having you. I should really rephrase that.”
Tommy Bowe and his ten siblings
Former Ireland international rugby star Tommy Bowe was left embarrassed after an extremely awkward moment while presenting Ireland AM.
As co-host Clare McKenna started to introduce their next guest, Seamus O'Reilly, for a chat about his new book, everything seemed to be hunky dory.
Clare fired ahead, saying: "Author Seamus O'Reilly was just five years old when he and his ten siblings-" at which point, Tommy interjected with a shocked, high-pitched "ten siblings?!"
Clare finished the sentence, saying "sadly lost their mum," leaving the former Ulster star instantly regretted what he said.
Amy Huberman’s ‘awkward’ sex question from Tommy Tiernan
Tommy asked the actor about her sex life, saying: “Without incriminating the people that we live with, I wonder could we talk about sex?”
“I’m much more interested now in intimacy and shared, physical space with my wife and sex can be a part of that.
“It’s not something you often hear Irish men in their 50s say, but it’s really important for me to be able to spend that time with my wife being physically intimate. But that’s not necessarily about sex.”
Amy replied: “And that’s that conversation dealt with.”
Mammy, what do I do if my passport's in Derry?
Before she was one-fifth of Girls Aloud, Derry lass Nadine Coyle was all too briefly a member of Irish reality show construct, Six, before a wee white lie about her age got her booted off.
Nadine forgot her script and promptly gave a date of birth on camera which would have made her just 16 years of age instead of the required 18.
Cue some very bad lying, po-faced narration, crying on the phone to mammy, a shocked Linda Martin and a lucky escape which eventually led to girl band fame.
What's Snots?
This was a time before Twitter, but The Den supplied us with the most awkward but yet one of the most hilarious clips ever.
"Where d'ya get your shades? ... Where d'ya get your hairstyle?" We challenge you to watch all four minutes of this segment and not chuckle. We bet Kevin from Galway has never lived this one down and we hope he enjoyed his bike.
Tangate
Hughie Maughan accidentally broke the internet while appearing on Dancing With The Stars in 2017, by taking to the dance floor looking suspiciously tanned.
He looked like he may have gotten a little over-familiar with a bottle of Cocoa Brown or maybe it was Nutella.
Novelist Amanda Brunker summed up the thoughts of the whole country, saying in a tweet: ‘*spits out tea* Eh, were you away Hughie?"
Gracias Father
Pope Francis touched down in Ireland back in 2018 for a historic two-day visit.
One viral video of his trip was of mum Candice Hartigan, a user of the Capuchin Father's Day Centre, whose 11-month-old daughter got a kiss from Pope Francis.
Speaking on RTE News, she recalled: "He just leaned down and looked at her and kissed her on the forehead.
"I was like Gracias father because it's the only bit of Italian I know."
The reporter then responded: "Italian yeah?" before the interview continued but in fairness to Ms Hartigan she wasn't far wrong as gracias means thank you in Spanish, while grazie means thank you in Italian.
