Most and least expensive homes sold in Nottinghamshire between October and December

The most and least expensive homes to be sold in Nottinghamshire between October and December last year have been published..

Data from the Land Registry has shown there were some very expensive sales across the city and the county at the end of 2021.

The most expensive sale was for a property in Old Road in Ruddington, which went for a whopping £1,995,000 back on October 25, 2021..

By contrast, a flat in Park View Court in Nottingham went for £45,000 three days later on October 28.

While there were some expensive sales in Nottinghamshire, in London the most expensive sale was a detached house which went for £31,602,320.

Average house prices across the UK increased by 10.8% over the year to December 2021, up from 10.6% in November 2021, according to figures from the Office for National Statistics.

Between the beginning of 2016 and the end of 2019, there was a general slowdown in UK house price growth, driven mainly by a slowdown in the south and east of England.

The start of 2020 saw a pick-up in annual growth in the housing market before the coronavirus restrictions were put in place at the end of March 2020.

According to the Land Registry, 25,294 home sales have been registered for October, 27,237 for November, and 7,847 for December.
