KOLKATA: Mosques opened doors for mass prayers while Ramzan bazaars were back in several parts of the city, from Zakaria Street to Beck Bagan and Ekbalpore, on Sunday. The devotees stepped out of their houses to purchase fruits and sweets to break the fast in the evening.
With the dip in Covid-19 cases and relaxation of restrictions, several traditional practices, associated with the holy month, can come back like the years before the pandemic.
