Moscow hit by 'largest-scale attack' on capital so far, mayor says

Ukrainian forces launched their "largest-scale attack" on Moscow since the war in Ukraine began, the city's mayor said on Sunday.

In a post on Telegram, Sergey Sobyanin reported that Russian air defences had shot down more than 1,600 drones across the country since Saturday, 450 of which he said had been heading towards the capital.
