A popular Ayrshire supermarket cafe has been shut down.
The Morrisons coffee shop at the Kilmarnock store was introduced when the store was given a huge facelift a few years ago.
However, the venue, based at the front door, is now being used for seasonal promotion items with a giant canoe on top of the counter.
A sign outside the cafe says the spot would close from May 1.
Morrisons’ larger cafe has remained open.
The main cafe at the supermarkets sells all day breakfasts, sandwiches, burgers, light bites, afternoon teas, desserts, main meals and kids can eat free at the outlet.
Following a recent overhaul, bosses introduced a flower shop, small coffee shop and party shop following a major makeover.
The sign in the shop reads: “From Monday, May 1 this Brew Bar will not be in operation.”
