Morrisons is helping customers keep cool during the heatwave by announcing that every café across the country will be offering free refills on cold drinks today.
The British supermarket chain has said that customers will be able to get free refills on summer favourites such as slushies, milkshakes and soft drinks including Sprite, Fanta, and Coca Cola.
Free refills on all cups of tea and coffee will also be included in the offer in all cafes across the country with immediate affect.
The offer was introduced yesterday, Monday, July 18, and will run for the rest of today.
Morrisons took to Facebook this morning to announce the new offer which was met with praise from shoppers.
Their post read: "Everyone is welcome to stay safe and hydrated with us during the heatwave. With free refills on drinks and air con in our cafes, come and visit for as long as you need. And don't forget - kids eat free all day!
"T&C's: Drinks include water, all hot drinks, chocolate & strawberry milkshake, raspberry & unicorn/strawberry Starslush, dispensed orange & apple juice and all dispensed fizzy drinks."
Many shoppers were quick to flock to the comments section to praise the supermarket for helping customers to keep cool during rising temperatures.
"Well done morrisons hope you all have a day xxxxxxx", wrote one shopper.
"Wow…well done Morrisons…", commented a second.
"Well done Morrisons!!", replied a third.
The supermarket has also said that they will be offering customers free tap water and that their cafe's all have air con, making them a welcome refuge this summer.
Ali Lyons, Head of Morrisons Cafes said: "We want to do as much as possible to keep the nation safe and hydrated during this heatwave. We are therefore offering all customers free refills to help out."
