To beat the till queues and festive chaos, hundreds of shoppers opt for 'Click & Collect' groceries around this time of year, but getting a slot is highly competitive.
Morrisons has now added 150,000 slots to help shoppers make their online Christmas dinner orders. Rolled out across 470 of its stores it's hoped it'll add extra convenience and take added cost pressures off shoppers.
Hosting Christmas is expensive at the best of time let alone in the current economic climate as households tackle rising bills and inflation rates. And for the first time shoppers can get £10 off an £80 shop by using the code VOU8313728 on the 'Click and Collect' checkout, the offer is only available until the end of this year, and closes on December 30.

Like majority of other UK supermarkets Morrisons 'Click&Collect' slots are free to book, meaning shoppers can order their weekly food shop on-the-go and pick-up at specific time. Added offers this December means shoppers can benefit from last minute slots too, with same day collections now available at no extra cost, as long as it's ordered before midday.
Added collection slots aren't the only thing on offer as the retailer reduces the prices of at-home deliveries too. Unlike 'Click & Collect' the added convenience of having food shop delivered to your home address comes at an added cost, now from £1.50 depending on the time and demand at the time.
Home delivery shoppers can also benefit from added discounts this Christmas, and save £10 if they spend £50 or more, followed by £20 off each subsequent three food shops. This deal can be claimed by signing up to receive Morrisons offers.
Jodie Locking, Head of Digital Marketing at Morrisons, explained the reasoning behind the supermarkets added delivery offers as a way to 'help save customers money and time' at a time when many of its shoppers have been hit with rising bills.
Morrisons has also introduced a new section on its website to help shoppers find the best money-saving deals and discounted bundles on it's 'More Ways to Save' page. It highlights all of the offers currently available, whether it's the current 'two for £5' deals, buy any three items for price of two on selected party food and its two for £1 offers.
And going further with it's festive deals, all customers that come into its cafés on 19 December can get free mince pies and Christmas cake when buying a drink. Shoppers can make the most of deals by registering to shop online, here.
