The underdogs of the 2022 World Cup have done it again.
Morocco pulled off yet another upset on Saturday, taking down Cristiano Ronaldo and juggernaut Portugal in a 1-0 victory.
The Moroccan national team will now advance to the semifinals to play either France or England. They are the first African or Arab team to make it this far in World Cup competition, adding to the squad’s Cinderella run.
Naturally, celebrations broke out all over Morocco for the team’s seismic victory. The one in Marrakesh was truly a sight to behold.
You can tell how much this World Cup run means to the Moroccan fans.

Well, if that doesn’t get you excited, not much else will.
Their contest against the winner of England and France is set for Wednesday. If Morocco’s players have any more magic left up their sleeves, they could really pull of the shock of the century next week.
