Morocco defeated by France in World Cup semi-final clash

It's the end of the road for Morocco's World Cup campaign, after France beat them 2-0 in their semi-final showdown. The Atlas Lions have still made it further than any African team in the history of the tournament. Also, as the US-Africa Summit continues in Washington, $55 billion have been pledged as the US seeks to boost its influence. And in Ghana, inflation stands at a 21-year high of 50 percent, one day after Accra announced a $3 billion loan deal with the International Monetary Fund.
