Moritz Jenz is set to call time on his loan deal at Celtic, according to a report.
The defender - who joined in the summer on a season-long agreement, with a reported option to buy, will return to his parent club Lorient before the January window slams shut report the Scottish Daily Express. It's believed he has grown frustrated with his lack of playing time in recent weeks with new recruit Yuki Kobayashi starting the last two games alongside Carl Starfelt.
The highly-regarded J-League defender appears to have leapfrogged the former Fulham youngster in the Parkhead pecking order with Cameron Carter-Vickers and the Swede the favourited first choice pair at the Scottish champions. The 23-year-old is reported to have possible options in Germany for the second half of the campaign. He was a regular in Ange Postecoglou's side before the World Cup break but has not started a game since the Premiership shutdown return.

He's found himself as an unused sub or left out of the squad completely. He has appeared 19 times in all competitions netting twice.
Celtic have made three signings in this window to date with Kobayashi joined by Alistair Johnston and Tomoki Iwata in Glasgow.
Josip Juranovic has departed in a deal that could net the Hoops £10million with Union Berlin in Germany his destination. Giorgos Giakoumakis could yet depart in the next week with interest reportedely from Japan, USA and Spain in his services.
Postecoglou tends to act fast and it is believed a deal has been struck to bring in Hyeon-Gyu Oh from Suwon Bluewings for £2.5million.
