Supporters of Morecambe FC have called on a 20-year-old tycoon to either speed up his takeover of the club or step aside.
Sarbjot Johal could become the youngest owner in the Football League if the deal is completed.
The proposed deal has been in the works for months while Mr Johal's Sarb Capital Limited has made a number of investments in the club during that time.

However, the Shrimps Trust Board of Trustees has now called on Mr Johal to speed up the deal or to step aside to allow for other interested parties to attempt to buy the club.
In a letter, the trust said: "Following our relegation from League One and the subsequent announcement of the club's retained list for the year, we share the widespread concern amongst supports of the impact of the ongoing proposed takeover on our team, our club and our community."
The club were put up for sale by Bond Group Investments in September as their owners battled the turmoil at their Premiership rugby side, Worcester Warriors.
Jason Whittingham and Colin Goldring have owned The Shrimps since May 2018.
