'More than a shopping trip': Vehicle stop nets drugs, police allege

A man has been charged after a commercial quantity of cannabis, with an estimated street value of $850,000, was allegedly seized during a vehicle stop near Yass.

About 2.45am Friday, September 4, Yass Highway Patrol officers were conducting high visibility patrols on the Hume Highway, Bowning, when they stopped a Kia Carnival.
