Parents who bought a baby jumper or swing online in the past five years are being told to stop using it immediately, after federal regulators identified two distinct ways the same product line can injure an infant.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on August 13, 2026, that Taleco Gear is recalling about 41,100 baby jumpers, baby swings, and two-in-one jumper-and-swing units in the United States, along with 150 sold in Canada. According to the recall notice, the products can become unstable during use, posing fall and impact hazards, and the hanging restraint straps and seat openings can pose strangulation hazards.
