The 2026 Paris Motor Show opens its doors this October, bringing the global automotive industry together for one of the year’s biggest car shows. Automakers from around the world will be on hand to showcase their latest production models, concept cars, and new technologies, with Chinese brands expected to have a particularly strong presence.
After several relatively quiet years, the 2026 Paris Motor Show is shaping up to be a much bigger affair.
More than 100 brands are reportedly confirmed to attend, representing a broad mix of established automakers, emerging Chinese manufacturers, and other companies looking to make an impression on the European market. With so many brands expected to bring new or updated products to Paris, there should be plenty to see throughout the week.

Alfa Romeo
It's still too early to expect even a concept version of its SUV to be announced as part of Stellantis’ strategic plan. Alfa Romeo could, however, use the 2026 Paris Motor Show to show off the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio with a new Euro 7-compliant engine. A mysterious concept is also expected to debut, potentially previewing a new Alfa Romeo sports car and serving as a spiritual successor to the 33 Stradale.
Alpine
The biggest news expected from Alpine is the new A110, which was first shown at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed. It was still a concept then, and it will remain one at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. Powered by an electric powertrain, the A110 could eventually spawn combustion-engine or hybrid versions as well. The Alpine stand will also feature the A290 and A390.
Audi
The new Audi A2 E-Tron will be the German brand’s most important debut at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. It offers up to 322 horsepower, a maximum range of 401 miles, and a starting price of €38,350. At the other end of the lineup is the Audi Q9; the large SUV will make its first European appearance in Paris.
BYD
There will be no world premieres from BYD, but the Chinese automaker will display many of its latest models introduced in recent months. They range from the Dolphin G DM-i, billed as the most affordable plug-in hybrid on the market, to the new Atto 3 and Atto 2 DM-i.
Changan
Avatr, Deepal, and Nevo are expected to be the brands represented on the Chinese Changan Group stand. The main focus will likely be on the Deepal S05 and S07, electric SUVs preparing to go on sale in Europe, including Italy.
Citroën
It may be the smallest model in the lineup, but it could also be the one that attracts the most attention. The new Citroën 2CV is expected to make its world premiere at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, although it will still be presented as a concept. It will be an E-Car: small, electric, and affordable, with production expected to take place in Italy alongside related Fiat and Opel models. Citroën will also show the Elo, a small minivan concept that could eventually make its way into production.
Cupra
Cupra is not expected to have any major new debuts, but the Spanish brand will showcase its full lineup, recently expanded with the Raval. The small electric car shares its platform with models including the Škoda Epiq, Volkswagen ID.Cross, and ID.Polo.
Dacia
The Dacia Striker has already debuted online, but the Romanian brand’s new station wagon will be shown in person for the first time in Paris. It features a slightly raised ride height and will be offered with LPG, mild-hybrid, and full-hybrid powertrains. The all-new model will not be called the Evader, however. Instead, Dacia is reviving the familiar Spring name for its new affordable small EV, which is based on the Renault Twingo.
Denza
Already shown at Goodwood, the Denza Z is an electric coupe with roughly 986 hp that is preparing to reach European dealerships. The 2026 Paris Motor Show could be another important step toward its market launch. The same applies to the BAO 5, a rugged plug-in hybrid off-roader producing around 537 hp.
DS
For DS, the model of the moment is the N°7, a compact SUV that succeeds the best-selling DS 7. Built in Melfi, Italy, the DS N°7 uses the STLA Medium platform and will be offered with mild-hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric powertrains.
Fiat
The Fiat Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback are among the most anticipated debuts at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. Both compact SUVs are expected to use the Smart Car platform already found under models such as the Grande Panda, Opel Frontera, and Citroën C3 Aircross. Their styling is expected to closely echo the Grande Panda, while the powertrain lineup should include gasoline, mild-hybrid, and electric options.
Ford
Ford is preparing seven new models—two commercial vehicles and five passenger vehicles—to launch between now and 2030. Among them will be a European version of the Bronco, along with what appears to be a new Fiesta, this time as a fully electric model based on the Renault 5 platform. Will either of them appear at the 2026 Paris Motor Show? There is no confirmation yet.
Geely
The Geely E2, China’s best-selling car, recently launched in Europe and is already on sale in Italy from €20,990. The small electric car will compete with models such as the Volkswagen ID. Polo, Renault 5, and other affordable EVs.
Genesis
At the 2025 Munich Motor Show, Hyundai Group’s premium brand announced its official arrival in Europe with three electric models. In Paris, Genesis could offer an early look at the GV70 Hybrid, although its presence is far from confirmed. The GT concept could also appear, potentially previewing a future sports car for the Magma sub-brand.
Honda
While European automakers are beginning to develop their own E-Cars, Japanese manufacturers have been building small city cars for decades. In Japan, these are known as kei cars, and Honda has brought a derivative of one to the United Kingdom. Called the Honda Super-N, it could be one of the more interesting cars on display at the 2026 Paris Motor Show.
Hyundai
The biggest news from Hyundai will likely be the Ioniq 3, an electric compact first shown at 2026 Milan Design Week. It is also the first model from the Korean automaker to feature its new design language, known as "Art of Steel."
Kia
Kia’s major new models have already been revealed, and some have even been driven by the media. Still, the Paris Motor Show will allow the brand to display the EV2, Seltos, XCeed, and Niro together in one place. The crossovers vary considerably in size and powertrain, ranging from gasoline-powered models to fully electric vehicles. And who knows? The much-discussed EV1 could also make an appearance.
Lancia
Lancia Gamma. That is the name of the midsize SUV the Italian brand will show in person for the first time at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. Built in Melfi alongside the DS N°7 and Jeep Compass, it uses the STLA Medium platform and shares related powertrains, including mild-hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric options. The most powerful version is expected to produce around 345 hp.
Leapmotor
Leapmotor’s lineup continues to expand, and the 2026 Paris Motor Show will see the addition of the B03X, a new fully electric compact SUV. It will be displayed alongside the B03 compact car and the larger D19 SUV.
Li Auto
In China, Li Auto already has a well-established lineup. In Europe, however, the young Chinese brand has yet to make its official debut. At the 2026 Paris Motor Show, it is expected to present the i6, a large electric SUV measuring 16.2 feet long.
The i6 features an 87.3-kWh battery and promises up to 447 miles of range under China’s homologation cycle.
Mercedes-Benz
Everyone is waiting for the Baby G-Class, but there's still no indication it will appear in Paris. The same goes for the rumored G-Class Cabriolet. What is confirmed is that Mercedes-Benz will bring the new C-Class and GLA to the 2026 Paris Motor Show, along with several of its latest models, including the 2026 S-Class, GLC, VLE electric van, and the 1,153-hp Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe hypercar.
Opel
The new Opel Astra will be on display at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, including the new GSE Line version. The sportier trim is designed to accommodate a powertrain producing around 276 hp. Opel’s press release also mentions an all-new concept, which could be the affordable small electric car related to the Citroën 2CV and its Fiat-branded counterpart.
Peugeot
If you are waiting for the new Peugeot 208, you may have to wait a little longer. The French brand will not use its home auto show to unveil its new small electric car. Instead, the Polygon concept will be there to preview its styling. Also on display will be the E-208 GTi, an electric hot hatch with around 276 hp and front-wheel drive.
Renault
Renault has revealed numerous new models recently, with the Twingo effectively closing out the brand’s latest wave of nostalgia inspired by iconic models from the past. At the Paris Motor Show, Renault will shift its focus to a series of concepts intended to “explore a completely different design direction.” They are not expected to lead directly to production models, but they could provide an early look at where the French automaker is heading next.
Skoda
Epiq on one side and Peaq on the other. Skoda will bring two SUVs with different shapes and sizes to the 2026 Paris Motor Show, united by one key feature: both will be available exclusively with electric powertrains. No other major surprises are expected from the Czech brand.
Smart
One of the smallest debuts at the 2026 Paris Motor Show could also be one of the most interesting. After years of rumors and a concept shown some time ago, the Smart Fortwo is finally ready to return. It will be called the Smart #2, will be fully electric, and is expected to measure around 8.9 feet long.
Volkswagen
The ID.Polo and ID.Cross will be the two main debuts on the Volkswagen stand. Both are electric models based on the front-wheel-drive MEB platform, serving as battery-powered counterparts to the familiar Polo and T-Cross. The real surprise, however, could be the production version of the Volkswagen ID.Every1, the small and affordable EV expected to start at around €20,000.
Volvo
After completing its electric flagship lineup, the Swedish automaker could bring the facelifted Volvo XC40 to the 2026 Paris Motor Show. The compact SUV is expected to remain available with electrified and fully electric powertrains.
Xpeng
The Xpeng G9 is the Chinese automaker’s high-riding flagship, but it is preparing to make way for the G9L, with the “L” standing for Luxury. The new model expected from Xpeng at the 2026 Paris Motor Show aims to go beyond the brand’s traditional focus on smart mobility, targeting the kind of luxury associated with established premium brands. Details about its powertrains have not yet been revealed.
Zeekr
The Zeekr 9X could be the big news from Geely Group’s premium Chinese brand—and in more ways than one. It is a flagship SUV designed to compete in the same space as large premium models from established luxury automakers, allowing Zeekr to showcase its ambitions at the 2026 Paris Motor Show.
