More Evertonians will get the chance to see Frank Lampard’s eagerly-anticipatd first game in charge, with additional tickets for this Saturday’s FA Cup Fourth Round tie against Brentford becoming available.
The visitors initially took up their full expanded FA Cup allocation of 15% (approximately 6,000 seats) which is their right as a visiting club in the competition.
However, when it became clear that they had only sold around half of this number, the ECHO understands that Everton pushed them hard for a solution that would enable more Blues to get into the ground for a game which has created a considerable clamour for tickets given the start of the new era at the club under Lampard.
Everton officials worked alongside their Brentford counterparts to ensure some of the visitors’ unsold seats in the Upper Tier of the Bullens Road Stand could be released to Evertonians with the visitors now moved entirely into a section of the Lower Bullens.
A limited number of seats will be available on general sale from 10am tomorrow (Thursday February 4).
Adult tickets (18-64) will be priced at £15, 65+ at £10 and under-18s at £5 each.
