More Disney backstage tours are returning in 2022

ORLANDO, Fla. — Some behind-the-scenes tours will be resuming at Walt Disney World in early 2022, the company announced Thursday.

The add-on experiences, which Disney clusters under the category of Enchanting Extras Collection, will start their returns Feb. 6, according to the official Disney Parks Blog.

The Keys to the Kingdom experience, a five-hour walking tour, goes backstage and underground into the utilidors at Magic Kingdom.

At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, tours called Caring for Giants, which involves African elephants; Up Close With Rhinos; Wild Africa Trek; and Savor the Savanna also will return.

Prices range from $35 to $199 per person, and the experiences also require park admission.

Reservations are recommended and can be made at DisneyWorld.com or the My Disney Experience app.
