Montana Leaves Kamala Harris Off Absentee Ballot, Forced to Shut Down Voting System After Voters Complain

Montana voters using the absentee ballot reported Kamala Harris missing from their ballot, causing the state to shut down and reboot their voting system.

The Electronic Absentee System went live at 8 a.m. local time Friday for Montana voters, and election officials were notified shortly after that Harris and her running mate Tim Walz's names were missing from the ballot, according to the Montana Secretary of State's Office.
