Monsoon to hit northeast this week

GUWAHATI: The southwest monsoon is all set to hit the northeast in the next three to four days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) announced on Sunday.

Met officials said conditions have turned out favourable for further advancement of the monsoon towards the northeast, after it arrived in Kerala, three days ahead of time on Sunday.
