Monkeypox virus outbreak: British child in intensive care as cases rise

A British child is reportedly in intensive care after being diagnosed with monkeypox after cases continued to spread across the UK.

It was claimed the youngster is being treated in a London hospital.

Chief medical adviser Dr Susan Hopkins said the virus is being spread by community transmission in Britain, reports the Mirror.
