With millions of pounds worth of unused Clubcard vouchers due to run out by 11:59pm on November 30, MoneySavingExpert has shared a crafty trick to extend their expiry date. Clubcard vouchers are only valid for two years.
However, those who have some that are about to expire but don't want to use them yet can extend their validity by another two years by making a small purchase on the Tesco Clubcard Rewards page.
Chris Newlands, news and investigations editor at MoneySavingExpert, said: "£13 million worth of Tesco Clubcard vouchers about to expire is an eye-watering amount and it is a great shame to see this going to waste. But there is still time to act, and if you can't find the time or motivation to use them all up before the end of the month deadline, then we have a simple trick: make a small purchase.
"If you spend 50p using a £10 Clubcard voucher, you'll get £9.50 back as new vouchers with the expiry date extended for another two years. Every little helps."
