A Scots grandad was left in tears after being given tickets to see his beloved Rangers in Seville - 50 years after watching them lift the European Cup Winners' Cup.

Jimmy Gilbert’s heartfelt reaction was caught on camera after his family surprised him with the “gold dust” briefs at his Neilston home in East Renfrewshire on Sunday night.

The 72-year-old flew out to Malaga from Prestwick Airport on Monday with son-in-law Stephen Birtwhistle and grandson Alfie Lavelle, 11.

Scots family 'hysterical' and left with nothing after home completely destroyed in devastating fire

A family has been left with absolutely nothing after their house was completely destroyed in a devastating caravan fire.

Andrea Loughrey, 51, and husband John, 53, say they are "still in shock" after their home in Kilmux Park in the village of Kennoway, Fife, was burnt out on Friday evening.

Fire crews were called to the property after the blaze spread from a neighbour's caravan at around 5pm.

At the height of the incident, six fire engines were in attendance, with water being pumped overhead onto the house.

Sam Heughan spotted in popular Glasgow restaurant as Outlander star enjoys Sunday lunch

Sam Heughan was spotted at one of Glasgow's most popular restaurants as he enjoyed a chilled Sunday lunch.

The Outlander star was spotted enjoying a glass of fizz at Crabshakk Botanics this afternoon in between work commitments.

The Vinicombe Street eatery, which opened in April, is run by the same people who own one of the west end's most beloved seafood restaurants, Crabshakk in Finnieston.

The Chase brainbox Mark Labbett has revealed he is currently single, after splitting from his wife and cousin two years ago.

Mark, 56, tied the knot with his second cousin, Katie, 29, in October 2014 before calling it quits on their romance during the pandemic.

The couple, who have one child together, attempted to open up their marriage before eventually splitting for good in 2020 - citing their 27-year age gap as one of the reasons.

More than 48,000 cases of lung cancer were diagnosed in the UK in the three years between 2016 and 2018, according to Cancer Research UK.

The symptoms of lung cancer usually don’t show up until the dangerous cells have spread throughout the body.

But there are ways that you could be able to spot early symptoms of the illness.

Symptoms experienced by many people with lung cancer include a shortness of breath, wheezing or having a persistent cough with blood or phlegm.
