A Venezuelan man was shot by a federal immigration agent in Austin, Texas, on Sunday (20 September), video released by police shows.

The man, Wilber Rafael Garces Perez, spent the night in ICE detention with the bullet lodged in his back. His lawyer says he is being treated at a hospital for paralysis on his left side.
