Moment Zohran Mamdani meets King Charles after calling for return of crown jewel to India

King Charles and Queen Camilla continued their state visit to the United States with a visit to the 9/11 memorial in New York City Wednesday.
The royal couple laid a bouquet of white flowers at the memorial pool and met with first responders and families affected by the 9/11 attacks.
King Charles had a brief exchange with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani during the visit.
This interaction followed Mamdani's earlier statement that he would urge the King to return the Kohinoor diamond to India if they spoke privately.
The Kohinoor diamond, a point of contention between England and India, is currently set into a royal crown displayed in the Tower of London.
