The moment an out of control horse rammed into a crowd of people celebrating King Charles' Coronation has been caught on camera. The 'unruly' animal backed into members of the public waiting along The Mall, as officials desperately tried to rein it in.
As the horse went crashing through the barricade into onlookers, guards moved out of the way and the crowd was forced to disperse following the incident.
The commotion happened following the crowning of King Charles and Queen Camilla, who were being escorted down The Mall as the horse misbehaved.
A member of the Life Guards, a regiment of the Household Cavalry, attempted to rein his horse in as it jolted across the road, the Express reports. The horse eventually took its place behind the Gold State Coach after being brought under control.
Around 160 members of the armed services were part of the Sovereign's Escort of the Household Cavalry to accompany the King and Queen. At the end of the clip, one guard appeared to have her foot trampled on as she had to be helped to her feet and was seen limping.
Thousands of Brits and well wishers from across the globe lined the procession route today as they watched King Charles and Queen Camilla make their way back to Buckingham Palace.
More than 4,000 troops took part in the historic procession which was just 1.3 miles, a much shorter route than any before. At the head of the procession - about a mile in front - was Brigade Major Lieutenant Colonel James Shaw riding Sovereign's Shadow.
