Scots teens cling onto Edinburgh tram in reckless stunt in TikTok video

This is the moment a group of reckless youngsters clung onto a moving tram as it passed through traffic in Edinburgh.

The careless stunt was caught on camera and shared on TikTok this week.

The shocking clip was taken from the upper level of a Lothian Buses double-decker that sat alongside the tram as it headed through the capital's bustling streets.

Scenes of stupidity show the youths grabbing the top of the electric doors as the tram passed through heavy traffic in the city centre.

The boys continued to hang tight as the vehicle made its way towards busy Princes Street, reports Edinburgh Live.

In another idiotic move, the group jumped off the moving carriages as they passed through a junction leaving them centimetres away from being trapped under the tram or mowed down by oncoming motors.

Shocked onlookers watched from both the bus and tram itself.

The stunned TikTok user, @twelve50tv, wrote: "Spotted these wee guys making full use of the trams Edinburgh city centre. Wouldn’t chance trying this."

The incident is not the first occasion youngsters have been spotted acting dangerously on Princes Street, with similar scenes taking place less than a week ago.

In another clip, a teen was caught practicing BMX stunts behind a moving Lothian Bus, with the biker up on their back wheel as they chased behind the vehicle.

The full clip can be found on TikTok.
