Moment Rangers star Danilo's dad steals limelight in Dingwall dance display

Rangers striker Danilo fired home his fourth goal of the season in the 3-0 win over Ross County on Sunday.

However, it was the forward's dad who stole the limelight as he danced with Rangers supporters in the away end in Dingwall.

Danilo scored Rangers' second goal of the afternoon as he charged down goalkeeper Jack Hamilton and blocked his clearance before poking the ball over the line.

The Brazilian striker, 25, then celebrated with Rangers supporters packed into the stand behind the goal.

Among them was Danilo's dad - draped in a Rangers scarf - who was later caught on camera dancing away in the stands as Rangers cruised towards victory.

With Rangers supporters relishing the victory, Danilo's father was spotted bouncing up and down and pumping his fist.

Sky Sports commentator Neil McCann was clearly unaware of the connection as he joked "that's not going to go viral".

Danilo shared snaps of his dad in the away end on his personal Instagram account as he posted: "This guy. You are crazy, bro."

Marcelo Silva shared a number of images of his trip on his own social media account as he documented his trip to the Highlands, dancing in the stands and even taking a turn waving a Rangers flag.

Discussing Danilo, manager Philippe Clement said: "I'm very happy for Danny and for the team, of course, and for myself also.

"I missed him 11 months that he was not available, so you see also the difference he can make.  We missed that in a lot of games in the past, so it's now raising his levels.

"He's not at his top yet, cannot be after that period, but he's showing already the good things that he showed before. He's not yet, for me, at the level that he was in the moment that I started to work here, but he's working hard on that and only time will help him that way, and more minutes and more training minutes also."
