This video shows the moment a man was knocked off his scrambler bike by police after doing a wheelie.
Owen Jameson, 19, sped along Thomas Drive in Prescot on an off-road scrambler bike on March 7, 2023. The video, taken from a dashcam in a police car, shows Jameson speeding down the road while performing a wheelie during school hours.
The 19-year-old, who was disqualified from driving due to a previous offence, was then pursued by police. The clip, shared by Merseyside Police, shows officers chasing Jameson as he sped away.

He can be then seen slowing down and pulls up alongside a mum and child who were walking the pavement. In a "tactical move" officers knocked Jameson of the bike.
The teenager can be seen getting back up and goes towards the driver before changing his mind and running away. An officer can then be seen chasing him on foot.
Jameson, from Huyton, performed wheelies - taking the bike's front wheel off the ground at speed - for around 100 metres, veering towards pedestrians. He was arrested at his home the following day, where he was found to have cannabis in his possession. Jameson was charged with driving offences and an offence from a year earlier.
On March 8, 2022, police executed a warrant on Wilson Road in Prescot and searched the alleyway. They gained access to a rear garden shed and officers found a gun wrapped in black bin bags.
The gun was identified as a Beretta double-barrelled shotgun, which was loaded with two cartridges. Multiple people's DNA was found on the grip of the weapon. Jameson's DNA was located on the trigger and the grip.
After being arrested on suspicion of the driving offences in March, Jameson pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, possession of cannabis, possession of a shortened shotgun without a licence, dangerous driving and driving without insurance.
On April 6, he was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday (April 12), appearing on video link from HMP Altcourse, where he has been on remand since March. Representing Jameson, John Rowan emphasised his client's age at the time of offending but said he was doing well in custody, engaged in English and Maths lessons with the aim of working in Altcourse's engineering department.
Mr Rowan also said that Jameson suffered from anxiety and panic attacks, saying his client had suffered a bruise on the brain having been kicked in the head. He also pointed to Jameson's early guilty plea.
Jameson, who has six previous convictions for 11 offences, was sentenced to 18 months in a young offenders' institution and banned from driving for 20 months. Sentencing, Mr Recorder Lamb told him: "In this case, the appropriate punishment can only be achieved by an immediate custodial sentence".
