Ryan Thomas has been pictured cuddling married EastEnders actress Zaraah Abrahams following the National Television Awards this week.
The former Coronation Street actor, who is engaged to TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh, can be seen burrowing his face into Zaraah's neck in an intimate moment in pictures.
The 38-year-old actor could then be seen wrapping his arms around the actress and an onlooker told The Sun that it looked like an 'affectionate cuddle' and the pair were 'caught up in the moment'.
Ryan, who played Jason Grimshaw on the cobbles between 2000 and 2016, shares two children with Lucy.
Meanwhile, Zaraah played Corrie's Joanne Jackson for two years from 2005 before joining EastEnders as Chelsea Fox.
During the National Television Awards on Thursday night, soap stars Ryan and Zaraah both watched as their shows lost out to Emmerdale for the award for Best Serial Drama.
A spokesperson for Zaraah told The Sun that she and Ryan had been incredibly close friends for years, and there's nothing more to the pictures than that.
“Zaraah and Ryan have been good mates for over 20 years and were just catching up as they haven’t seen each other for quite some time. It’s nothing more than that," they told.
Following the pictures, Ryan and his fiancée Lucy have put on a united front as they enjoyed a wholesome Sunday in the park with their children.
Lucy, 31, took to Instagram to share an array of loved-up snaps as the couple lapped up the Autumn sunshine while out with their children, Roman, 2, and five-month-old daughter, Lilah.
The couple have endured quite a difficult month as their son was rushed to hospital and kept in for 24 hours.
Roman has been battling some serious health issues which have specialists have been investigating after the tot was found blue in his cot by his terrified mum a year ago.
Concerned dad Ryan explained the ordeal on his social media last month when he told his fans: "Me and my little man have unfortunately been in this situation many times before.
"But this weekend we spent 24 hours in hospital away from home - but wanted to say a massive thank you to all the doctors and nurses at The Cumberland Infirmary for the hard work and dedication in making sure we get the best care possible.
"Me and my boy are home safe because of you. We are truly grateful."
The Mirror has reached out to Ryan and Lucy's representatives for comment on this story.
