Moment huge lightning bolt lights up UK sky as country battered by massive storm

Rare footage shows the moment a lightning bolt slammed into the sea off the coast of England.

The astonishing clip shows a massive arc of lightning strike and light up the stormy seas at around 3.15pm on Sunday.

It came as thunderstorms battered Dorset overnight with a band of heavy rain throughout the weekend.
