This is the dramatic moment a principal tackles and disarms a former student who planned to shoot up his school.
Newly-released security camera footage shows 20-year-old Victor Hawkins enter the lobby of Pauls Valley High School in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on the afternoon of April 8 and point his handgun at students.
Principal Kirk Moore can then be seen rushing from a side door and tacking Hawkins and holding him down until he drops the gun.
During the struggle, Moore was shot in the leg and is now recovering.
Hawkins was arrested and charged. He said he intended on committing a mass shooting and was inspired by the Columbine attack.
