Boxing legend Ricky Hatton is no stranger to performing in front of thousands. But there were no gloves needed as he took to the stage this weekend and reached for a microphone instead.
The 44-year-old hit the spotlight in Tameside as he belted out a version of Oasis classic She's Electric during the Made in Manchester Festival. Performing with The Oasis Experience, Ricky had the Dukinfield crowd up on its feet, although he admits he 'cringed' when he first saw the clip back the following day.
Sharing a video of his performance on Instagram, he wrote: "Top Top night @madeinmanchesterfestival Trying to put a tune across with me mate @degsywilliamson Don’t give up the day job though hitman you tool.

The Made in Manchester Festival on Saturday (May 27) was raising funds for Cancer Research UK in memory of Keith Halligan, a popular local musician and teacher, who died last year. A host of popular cover bands performed on the day, with 2,500 people watching on in the crowd.
Organiser Rob Brierley said: "It was fantastic. The sun was shining, it was beautiful. We raised some really good money for Cancer Research UK, it was a really good day.
"I got introduced to Keith at Ricky Hatton's gym, and when I started doing these festivals I was introduced to his son George. Keith was training for the Manchester Marathon, he was a really fit guy.
"He found out he had cancer and he passed away after a couple of weeks. We spoke to Keith's wife and George to see if we could do the festival in his honour."
The Made in Manchester Festival will return again later this year, in Bolton on June 24, and in Romiley on September 16 and 17.
