In the picture, Ringwald, 56, looked radiant in a cream dress with gold accents, playfully interacting with her son in a suit while Adele, dressed in black, was seen in the background.
Later that evening, the family posed for red carpet photos as Ringwald received the Variety Creative Vanguard Award at the festival. While Ringwald typically keeps her family life private, she recently made headlines by sharing a unique detail about her eldest daughter Mathilda's conception.
In an interview, Ringwald revealed that Mathilda, now 20, was conceived in the dressing room of Studio 54 during her time performing in 'Cabaret' on Broadway. Ringwald humorously remarked that it was fitting for Mathilda to be conceived in such an iconic place. Mathilda was born in 2003, and her siblings, Adele and Roman, joined the family six years later.
Although Ringwald's children have mostly stayed out of the public eye, Mathilda accompanied her mother to a premiere in January and has dabbled in modeling for brands like J. Crew and Andrew Warren. Following in her mother's acting footsteps, Mathilda is set to appear in the upcoming film 'The Idea of You' alongside Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine, scheduled for release in May.
