Aldi has brought back its popular baby event much to the delight of new and expecting parents looking to stock up on essentials and snap up bargain baby Specialbuys. And among the latest deals is the infant stroller that Manchester’s Love Island star Molly Mae uses.
The 23-year-old, who welcomed her daughter, Bambi, with boyfriend Tommy Fury back in January, purchased the Doona Infant Car Seat and even took the tot home from the hospital in the swanky £349 travel system.
But Aldi shoppers can get the Doona Car Seat Stroller for a snip of the price, with the Specialbuy available to buy in store for £269.99 from today.

Said to be the ‘world’s first car seat with integrated wheels’, the Doona allows you to move from car seat to stroller in a ‘matter of seconds’, making it ideal for quick trips and errands like nipping to the petrol station, picking up a coffee, or grabbing a few bits from the supermarket.
While Molly Mae has the stroller in the stylish Nitro Black colourway, Aldi’s online image displays a Storm Grey version of the gadget.
The product description reads: “The Doona Car Seat Stroller is a fully integrated travel system your family needs. You'll be able to move from car seat to stroller in a matter of seconds, making journeys a quick and effortless task.
“The sleek and stylish design allows you to navigate the streets with ease, without disturbing your sleeping child in the comfortable seat. This innovative 2-in-1 car seat and stroller provides a safe and practical solution for the modern parent.”
Suitable from birth to babies up to 13kg the stroller boasts an adjustable handlebar that doubles as an anti-rebound bar for the rear-facing car seat.
It’s made of breathable material, but also has removable and washable inserts, too. It’s been ‘tested and certified’ as an infant car seat, stroller and reclined cradle, and offers three-layer side protection and ‘fail safe mechanisms’ to prevent misuse.
Of the 17 reviews already on the Aldi website, all of them are five star, besides one four star review, which deducted a point for it being ‘a bit heavy’.
Mum Kelly said: “I’ve been looking for this for a while and when I came across this bargain bought it straight away. The best and easiest pushchair for babies if like me you’re in the car a lot and doing school runs. Makes life so much easier!”
Another added: “Cheapest on Aldi, quick delivery. Very light car seat/pram very easy to unpack.”
Joolsy22 left the four star rating, commenting: “Great item. Perfect safe car seat purchased for me to use with my newborn grandson in my car. Quick click and wheels unlock into a pushchair no need to disturb baby shifting him from car seat to pushchair. Only downside it is a bit heavy to lift the combined weight of car seat and baby.”
The Doona device costs £269.99 at Aldi, compared to £339.99 at Boots and Halfords, making it £70 cheaper than rival retailers. You can shop the full baby and toddler event on the Aldi website here.
