Molly-Mae Hague slammed by cinema worker after sharing laughing video of her

Molly-Mae Hague has been slammed by a cinema worker after sharing video of her getting hit by windscreen wiper.

The former Love Island star went on a spooky date with boyfriend Tommy Fury over the weekend, as they headed to a drive-in horror movie night experience, which featured actors dressed up as zombies.

The terrifying characters lurk in the darkness and jump out at the unsuspecting guests at an abandoned theme park, prompting screams of fear.

Molly filmed part of the experience while sat in her car with Tommy, who she met on the ITV2 dating series in 2019, and revealed one of the poor actors had been hit by her windscreen wiper.

She shared the clip twice on her Instagram Stories, laughing hysterically as the woman is taken out by the rogue wiper, and wrote atop the clip: “Sorry to the actor.”

Cinema worker Leigh Simpson, who played the zombie, took to social media to address Molly’s video, and criticised her reaction to the clip.

In a video on TikTok, Leigh showed a picture of herself in character, and fired back at Molly’s cruel laughter.

“This is a message for the 6.2 million people who follow Molly-Mae on Instagram,” she said.

“Did anyone feel sorry for the zombie who got hit in the face with a wind screen wiper, because it was me,” Leigh added.

“This is me pre attack, just minding my own business. If you haven’t seen it, if you are not one of the many people who have seen it, twice, because she posted it twice,” she fumed.

However, influencer Molly replied to Leigh’s video, and apologised profusely in a grovelling direct message.

“Oh my god I really am sorry, it was just awful timing. I never ever pressed it they were just on auto so the rain set them off! I'm really sorry and I hope it didn't hurt,” she wrote, followed by a broken heart emoji.

Leigh responded, telling Molly it was “fine”, and she’s used to “being bashed about a bit”.

“Oh well you stayed in character very well and I'm sorry again. It was an amazing evening, great acting!” Molly added.

Leigh thanked the star for her reply, and said she would “pass the feedback on”.
