Molly-Mae Hague has said you 'gotta do what you gotta do' as some criticised her for heading to the gym shortly after giving birth. The former Love Island star welcomed her first child, daughter Bambi, into the world with her boyfriend Tommy Fury on January 23.
And at the end of last week, Molly-Mae was been forced to issue a clarification after she shared a look at her return to the gym three weeks after giving birth to her first child. The influencer shared how she had made a gentle return to her home gym workouts three and a half weeks after giving birth as she filmed herself for videos posted to her Instagram Story.
After watching her self-filmed footage, Molly-Mae typed alongside the post: "These videos made me realise my [peach] has tripled in size from having Bambi [crying laughing emoji]. She then added: "Some serious toning needed but I'll get there in time."
She then shared a picture of herself in the gym, where she donned a pair of grey leggings and a black, long-sleeved workout top with her blonde locks scraped back into a bun. "3.5 week postpartum," she penned. "So beyond excited to get me fitness back... Never felt so ready to get my body back moving again."
And the new mum has clearly been enjoying getting some time to herself - sort of. Taking to her Instagram Story on Tuesday (February 21), the 23-year-old shared a video of her sweating it out on the step machine in her home gym while her older sister, Zoe, was working out alongside her.
But they weren't alone as Bambi, who is now four weeks old, was filmed by Molly-Mae chilling out in the background, cuddled up in a portable bed. Alongside a string of crying laughing emojis, the creative director of Pretty Little Thing typed to her millions of followers: "Gotta do what you gotta do. She loves the noise of the machines, she hates silence."
Their trip into the gym comes after they enjoyed a little trip out with Bambi also cosied up in a white teddy bear suit and a cute white bobble hat. As she lay awake in her pram, Molly-Mae revealed a sweet 'first'. She wrote: "Feel like I'm looking [in the] mirror with this pic. First time I've thought she looks like me!"
Molly-Mae is currently flying solo, with Zoe's help, after her boyfriend Tommy, also 23, flew out to Saudi Arabia to prepare for his much-anticipated fight with YouTube star turned MMA fighter Jake Paul, which takes place on Sunday, February 26.
Boxer Tommy and Jake, 26, were initially supposed to have a bout back in 2021 but Tommy pulled out after suffering a bacterial chest infection and a broken rib. Another scheduled fight in August was then pulled but ahead of Molly-Mae giving birth to their first child, it was announced that the pair would finally go head-to-head in February.
Earlier this week Tommy, who is the half-brother of heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury, shared a glimpse of a FaceTime call he had with his girlfriend and daughter whilst away preparing for his fight. Molly-Mae could be seen smiling whilst wearing her blonde hair down and sporting a natural makeup look as she held a sleeping Bambi in her arms whilst she wore a cute blue baby grow.
Tommy could be seen in the top right corner beaming with pride as he shared a promise to his first child. "Daddy will be home soon," he sweetly wrote alongside a screenshot of the call, with a love heart and world emojis.
