Molly-Mae Hague says she has now come to terms with the fact she will never be able to totally escape criticism and keep everyone happy.
The reality star is putting the finishing touches to Wednesday's catwalk extravaganza at London Fashion Week, an event she has put her mark on as the Creative Director for fast fashion brand PrettyLittleThing.
The build up was blighted and the star has taken pelters in recent weeks, accused of being 'tone deaf' for comments on wealth inequality and insists she only wanted to 'inspire' her fans.
She then faced online jabs last week after announcing the release of her memoir aged 22.
Molly-Mae says she hasn't changed one bit since becoming a star with more than six million followers on Instagram.
Giving an insight into how she copes with the fall out to her fame and how she deals with the comments that come her way, the 22-year-old opened up about meeting expectations.
She said: "I have had to accept I am not going to keep everyone happy.
"With six million followers it's not always possible to keep everyone happy, but I try to be a good role model. I know people do look up to me.
"Everything I post, I always put a lot of thought into. Both Tommy and I do.
"I'm just a normal girl living this very different life, but I have always stayed who I am. But whatever happens I wouldn't change my life for the world."
Molly-Mae defended herself against social media swipes claiming she is no longer who she once was.
She remains massively popular and she says she adores her loyal fans - even if it is difficult to go out for a normal day.
"I am still that girl who was absolutely over the moon when I hit 10,000 followers on Instagram," she added. "I've not changed.
"I have always stayed relatable, and you get the nitty gritty. I wont hide anything.
"If Tommy and I have been bickering all day, I'll tell you about it. If I have been having bad period pains, I'll tell you about it.
"I don't hide anything, and hopefully girls can feel they can relate to me.
"I haven't changed, I have always stayed the same girl."
Molly-Mae says it's the most important week of her life, so everything has to take a back seat - including Valentine's Day.
PLT has previously shown at Fashion Week in New York and Milan but this will be so different.
She is planning to make a splash in London but won't be sitting front row, instead staying backstage soaking it all in and making sure the night goes with a bang.
"This is going to be a super inclusive cat-walk, we stand by this so strongly," she said. "We have models from all walks of life and we've gone big on sustainability, that's so important.
"It's very surreal that it's finally here and it's been so much hard work but it's totally worth it.
"You are going to see it's unlike anything you have ever seen before."
