Molly-Mae Hague was left in tears after her 4D baby scan didn't quite go to plan. In her latest YouTube vlog, the former Love Island star took her loyal followers with her to a clinic where she hoped to see her unborn baby girl in a lot more detail.
However, last week, mum-to-be Molly-Mae shared how she was left heartbroken when she wasn't able to get a 4D scan of her unborn baby. The 23-year-old, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Tommy Fury, also 23, took to her Instagram Stories to relay what happened with her 6.8 million fans alongside a selfie of the couple in the car.
"Yesterday on our way to baby girls 4D scan which was a huge fail. I was sooo excited to see her little face but we couldn't see it [heartbroken emoji]!" Molly-Mae said before reassuring fans that her unborn daughter is 'completely fine' but she wasn't able to see the scan.
She went on: "(Just to clarify she's completely fine)! We left it as long as possible as well to have this scan as they say the older the baby the better, so I had been counting down the days... wish I hadn't been so optimistic, perfect though, fit and healthy and measuring completely average for weight/size at this stage which is all that matters."
And in her latest YouTube video, Molly-Mae could be seen in the clinic moving and jiggling around to try and get her baby girl into a better position for the scan. The creative director of Pretty Little Thing was doing what she could to get an opportunity to see her unborn child while boxer Tommy watched on with a hilarious look of bewilderment at his girlfriend's moves.
Molly-Mae could be heard saying she is '30 weeks now' before adding a note on the screen as she pulled a sad face at the camera: "Baby girl was all healthy which is amazing and the most amazing thing but she didn't cooperate for the scan. I tried moving about." But her efforts proved unsuccessful.
Appearing on screen from her car with mascara under her eyes, the pregnant influencer said: "I look nice... Can you believe I've actually just been crying." She added: "That was just a big fat disaster. I think I was just looking forward to it all week and I thought even if they don't get a picture of her they might be able to get just something. Just anything!
"But she couldn't get anything of her. She was completely not cooperating. Naughty little girl. But she said do you want to come back and I said there's not point because we're literally going to meet her soon and what's the point in going all the way back there for her to probably be in the wrong position again."
She then returned home and decided to address her earlier upset as she thought people may think she was 'silly'. "When I sit here and think about it it's ridiculous and the most important thing is that she is literally perfect," Molly-Mae said. "She's healthy, she is well and she is growing perfectly.
"I just think because I kept putting off the 4D scan and they say the longer you wait the clearer the image will be of the baby's face, we booked it ages ago and I was just so excited for this day and I hadn't even thought for one second that we might not be able to see anything... I think I got emotional because we just couldn't see anything and it didn't really go the way I thought it would."
Molly-Mae's disappointment came after she revealed Tommy 'forgets she's pregnant'. When asked if the father of her unborn child ever talks to her baby bump, Molly-Mae told Sport Direct before Tommy's fight last month in Dubai: "No, I think because he's been away a lot, I think he sometimes forgets.
"I'm like, 'You do understand that I'm like two months away from having a child'. I just think he has to be reminded because he is away a lot." But Tommy made up for some of his absent moments as he surprised his girlfriend at her stunning baby shower.
The half-brother of boxing champ Tyson Fury arrived to Peter Street Kitchen on Sunday (December 4) where Molly-Mae had gathered her nearest and dearest for the special occasion with a gift for the mum-to-be.
He gifted her a brand new black Chanel bag with Molly-Mae sharing a look on Instagram. "Surprise visit from dadda," she typed alongside a snap of her open-mouthed at the luxurious gift. And the couple's unborn baby was well and truly spoilt as Molly-Mae showed off the array of gifts she took back to her plush home.
"Baby girl is surrounded by the most thoughtful friends and family. So grateful," Molly-Mae penned as she held up a plush toy elephant in her PJs after slipping into her comfies after her lavish afternoon celebrations. And she was surrounded by a range of fancy gifts from the likes of Louis Vuitton to Jo Malone.
