British celebrities have been getting into the spooky spirit as they celebrate Halloween dressed up as their favourite characters from film, TV and literature.
Molly-Mae Hague pulled out all the stops over the weekend as she transformed her and fiancé Tommy Fury’s £4million Cheshire home for a ghoulish-themed bash.
The former Love Island star gave fans glimpse of the festivities on Instagram on Tuesday to mark the spook-tacular holiday.
Hague, who is a Harry Potter fan, dressed as the titular character, while Fury transformed into a blood-thirsty Dracula.
Making sure their nine-month-old daughter didn’t miss out on the fun, the couple, both 24, dressed Bambi as a mini Sully from Pixar movie, Monsters Inc.
Not to be outdone, Amanda Holden and Ashley Roberts transformed into Velma and Daphne from Scooby-Doo for Halloween.
The presenter, 52, posed in the Heart FM studio on Tuesday alongside Roberts, 42, and co-host Jamie Theakston, 52, dressed as the cartoon characters from Mystery Inc gang.
Even Holden’s beloved dog Rudie dressed up for the occasion as the cartoon’s main character Scooby Doo with the help of a cute costume.
Elsewhere, Strictly star Zara McDermott and boyfriend Sam Thompson decided to take inspiration from Channel 4 series Come Dine With Me for their Halloween costumes.
Recreating a memorable TV moment from 2016, McDermott transformed into season seven contestant Peter Marsh as he delivered a now viral rant at fellow contestant Jane after she won the week’s dining challenge and landed in last place.
The 26-year-old donned a purple pinstripe shirt and a short brown wig, while holding up a sign that read: “You won Jane. Enjoy the money. I hope it makes you happy.”
Meanwhile, Thompson dressed as Jane, sporting similar glasses to hers on the show and a long brunette wig.
In another image from their Instagram post, McDermott held up a second sign which read: “Dear lord, what a sad little life, Jane. You have all the grace of a reversing dump truck without any tyres on.”
When sharing their costume to social media, former MIC star Thompson wrote: “We take Halloween very seriously in this household tomorrows trickle treats gonna be a good time”.
Elsewhere, BBC football pundit Alex Scott, 39, transformed into Pennywise the clown.
Taking to Instagram the presenter joked that "ScottieWise [is] the new PennyWise" as she posed holding the clown's signature balloons under a dimly-lit bridge by Regent's canal.
Scott's costume was modelled on Stephen King's Pennywise clown from his 1986 horror novel It, and the film of the same name.
Getting in on the fun also was Geri Horner who dressed up as American aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart, who was the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.
Sharing her costume on Instagram, the Spice Girl wrote: "Happy Halloween from Falcon Queen Amelia Earhart. The first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean in 1937. She’s captivated the world for over 90 years."
Love Island presenter Maya Jama channelled her inner superhero for the festivities and dressed up as Storm from X-Men, a character made famous by Oscar winner Halle Berry.
The ITV star shared a slew of images and clips of her getting into character, writing: "I wanted to laugh so bad, ready to light up the place" before hosting her annual Halloween Party in collaboration with Gordon's Premium Pink Gin.
