Molly-Mae Hague gets her smile back after 'shark tooth' accident

Molly-Mae Hague laughed off a tooth accident with fans as she headed to the dentist.

The former Love Island star joked that she 'looked like a shark' after part of her tooth chipped off in her sleep.

The 22-year-old Pretty Little Thing creative director from Manchester told followers on Instagram that she didn't know how she did it.

"A couple of days ago I woke up to completely chipped a tooth. I don't know how I did it because I did it in my sleep," she said.

"I think I definitely swallowed it.

"I literally look like a shark with a dagger tooth."

The reality star, who shot to fame on the ITV2 dating series Love Island in 2019, later updated fans to show she had her smile back.

"We are whole again. My shark dagger tooth is gone," she said.

And she joked. "I will miss him."

She expanded to say it was composite edge bonding - a cosmetic filling used to fill edges and close gaps around the teeth - that had snapped off.

"It was my edge bonding that snapped clean off and I swallowed it potentially but not my actual tooth," she said.

Molly-Mae previously had fans talking after stepping out in a quirky pair of designer boots which retail on Givenchy's website for £1,695.

"Trying not to crease these boots is a fun game…" she captioned a photo of herself wearing the eye-catching shark lock pant boots that resemble wide-legged trousers with padlocks on the side.

sophielwoo said: "Adds boots to wishlist."
