Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury 'to make a fortune in the US' after boxer beats Jake Paul

Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague are reportedly set to break America, with some hailing them the “Posh and Becks of the Instagram generation”.

It comes after boxer Tommy Fury took to the ring in Saudi Arabia over the weekend, as he faced YouTuber Jake Paul, going on to win the match.

Tommy reportedly banked £1.6million for the fight, alongside taking 35 per cent of the pay-per-view money, roughly earning £3.7million from the match in total, with experts predicting he will earn £10million by 2025.

The fight will have opened the boxer up to new global audiences, with many now believing that he and his partner, Molly-Mae, are set to become internationally famous.

The pair, both 23, met on Love Island in 2019, and welcomed their first child, Bambi, earlier this month.

Molly-Mae has been one of the show’s biggest success stories, going on to become the creative director of PrettyLittleThing following her departure from the villa, earning £4.8m a year.

She also banks a further £2million a year in sponsored posts and her fake tan brand, Filter, making her the highest paid Love Island star of all time.

The influencer reportedly said that going on the show was a business move in order to boost her profile.

The pair’s success after the show is reportedly down to how they have managed to monetise their lives, by staying “authentic”.

Ben Jeffries, CEO of Influencer, explained: “Influencer marketing is built on trust and authenticity, and it is incredibly transparent to followers when a brand partnership isn’t authentic.”

Molly-Mae is known for turning down deals in the past that she felt weren’t right for her, and has stayed accessible to her fans with YouTube vlogs, in which she uses to discuss ordinary details of her and Tommy’s life together.

The Sun reported that new documents filed to Companies House indicate that Molly-Mae is overhauling her portfolio, which will lead to her considering new opportunities.

A source told the publication: “Molly has top level advisers around her and is able to draw on their expertise.

“She’s streamlining her businesses under the one name which will allow her to explore other avenues without setting up new firms.

“It makes total sense as she begins to explore options around her new ‘mumpreneur’ image since she had Bambi.”

Culture expert Nick Ede went on to suggest it is likely that Molly-Mae could turn to designing babywear and leaning more towards brands that align with her new role as a mum.

However, there is scope for the pair to break America, especially after Tommy's win against Jake, with experts predicting a big name sportswear brand deal on the cards for Tommy.

Nick believes the pair have the potential to break American stating: “I think that Molly-Mae could really do well in the USA with Tommy by her side. Her fabulous life is great fun and her social media is engaging.

“Breaking the USA will always be hard for anyone. But Molly-Mae and Tommy are a sexy, engaging couple.”
