Love Island icons Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have been accused of 'faking' their emotional reunion by eagle-eyed fans after being separated for three weeks for the highly anticipated fight with Jake Paul.
The 23-year-old boxer returned to his Manchester family home on Monday to Molly and their newborn daughter Bambi after beating the American social media personality in Saudi Arabia.
Molly, 23, had filmed the emotional moment her "champ" had walked through the door following the victory against 26-year-old Jake Paul. But fans aren't so sure how legit the sweet encounter was as some have taken to social media to speculate if the new parents had faked it.
Dressed in shorts and a hoodie with his champion's belt slung across his shoulder, Tommy grinned widely as his girlfriend threw her arms around him in a tight embrace.
"Is anything in these influencers' life authentic?," asked one person on social media, reports The Mirror.
They added: "Everything has to be set up and picture perfect for Insta. As if he’s come back from a fight in Dubai and all he’s got is a backpack and the belt over his shoulder."
Another agreed, saying: "Aye bro she’s had that camera on record and has been in the hall waiting ever since the fight ended."
However a third defended the pair, saying: "Looks weird yeah, but Mollys always filming for Social Media and Youtube and Boxers always carry their belts on the way home for the press to photograph them with it… they lit carry them through the airports and everything. It’s a huge belt doesn’t exactly fit in his backpack."
Pretty Little Thing director Molly, who has rocketed to fame since her time on the ITV dating show, made sure the setting was picture-perfect with a string of gold balloons and a 'Welcome home champ' banner for her soulmate coming home.
She had also recently gotten her hair done earlier that day, which further suggests she could have been expecting the landing flight.
But newborn baby Bambi didn't seem too impressed with her mum's new locks after Molly revealed she had thrown up on them.
Taking to Instagram with a photo of her shoulder covered in baby sick, she joked: "Bambi must have known it was a fresh hair day."
Molly told her fans she sadly couldn't watch the fight on Sunday in which Tommy beat YouTuber Jake after a split decision.
She was told about the result by her sister Zoe and Love Island pal Maura Higgins before bursting into tears at the results.
A host of celebrities came to watch Tommy and Jake battle it out at the Diriyah Arena and now the brother of boxer Tyson Fury is set to make some big money in the US in his boxing career moving forward.
A source told The Mirror: "Tommy is hot property after his win, and will have lots of brands wanting to work with him in America, where he was pretty much unknown before the Jake Paul fight. That has all changed."
It was alleged that Tommy raked in at least £3.7million from the fight, which included a £1.6million purse and money from pay-per-view.
