ABU DHABI – Mohammad Yahya is looking to steal the show in front of his home fans at UFC 294.
The first Emirati fighter to sign with the UFC, Yahya (12-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) makes his promotional against Trevor Peek (8-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) in a lightweight bout Saturday.
Yahya thinks Peek’s aggressive style is perfect for him to showcase his skills. He acknowledges Peek’s toughness but thinks he has the advantage wherever the fight goes.
Yahya talked about that and more at Wednesday’s UFC 294 media day in Abu Dhabi.

UFC 294 takes place Saturday at Etihad Arena. The main card airs on pay-per-view at a special time of 2 p.m. ET following prelims on ESPN+.
